Area of Practice

Mr. Enders focuses his practice on the analysis and management of patent portfolios and advises clients on related intellectual property issues, including infringement and validity analysis, and licensing matters. Mr. Enders also engages in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technology areas.

Professional Background

Mr. Enders has devoted his legal practice to counseling clients concerning a wide range of intellectual property law matters. During his career, he has drafted opinion letters for clients addressing patent validity and infringement issues, and has advised clients with regard to intellectual property ownership and licensing issues. Mr. Enders has also prepared and prosecuted numerous patent applications. Technology areas in which Mr. Enders has provided counsel include semiconductor processing, computer network technologies, computer hardware, signal processing, security applications, battery systems, aircraft and aviation systems, oil and gas technologies, chemicals and chemical processing.

Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Enders was an associate for Arnold, White & Durkee (1995-1999). While at Arnold, White & Durkee, Mr. Enders worked on a variety of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution and opinions, patent litigation, trade secret and trademark matters.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Enders worked for the Atlantic Richfield Corporation from 1982-1992 in separate capacities as an Operations/Analytical Engineer and as a Production Supervisor. His engineering responsibilities included production, reservoir and surface equipment engineering. His supervisory duties included field supervision of producing
wells and processing facilities. In particular, Mr. Enders was involved with a variety of production and reservoir optimization technologies including chemical stimulation, artificial lift, formation evaluation and reservoir characterization/development.
Mr. Enders also gained experience with handling and processing of petroleum fluids and water treatment technologies.
